God asks us to appreciate the richness and beauty of His world. Because of His love for us, no detail is too small.
Pamela Jones, artist of Hues from the Pews
Pamela Jones was inspired to pick up a paintbrush while admiring the stained-glass windows at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where she practices. These magnificent windows filter rays of light high above the congregation and were the beginning of a venture Pamela would undertake at the beginning of her 70s.
Pamela purchased a set of watercolors and brushes and began her artistic study of God’s beauty. “Through watercolor, I have learned that a good representation of an object requires rich hues, visible light, and an eye for the smallest detail. I believe that our relationship with God is much the same. God asks us to appreciate the richness and beauty of His world, to let in the light of His love, and to seek His guidance in even the smallest detail of our lives. Because of His love for us, no detail is too small.”
Pamela aims to share her love of God through artistic expression, and she prays your family and friends will enjoy her humble collection of watercolors.
