Blessed Virgin

This visual representation of the Blessed Virgin was a request from a dear friend (who also happens to be my sister-in-law). Truthfully, I was afraid to even attempt this watercolor. I had no idea how to paint a person’s physical features and, most assuredly, believed I was unqualified to paint the Blessed Virgin’s face. After prayer, I discerned the words, “use a delicate touch.” With only minimal strokes, her beautiful face emerged.
